About Tags On Site

The TagsOnSite brand

ERT America, Inc., ("ERTA") an Illinois corporation, developed a browser based vehicle registration software solution enabling banks to connect electronically with Motor Vehicle Departments.   ERTA's branded its software TagsOnSite (hereafter referred to as "Tags").   ERT America, Inc. intends to become a national Electronic Registration & Titling Service Provider anticipating its initial agreement with the State of Illinois.  However, that agreement is not yet complete.

Electronic registration and titling (ERT) is an easier, more efficient and convenient way to renew vehicle registration without the hassle of going to the DMV.

TagsOnSite ("Tags") is an electronic registration and titling service created to replace an outdated manual license plate sticker program. Tags is quick, convenient, and on-demand.  It is an easier, more efficient and effective way to handle registration renewals - designed specifically to help you convert license plate sticker traffic into actual customers!

At TagsOnSite we are dedicated to providing the best-in-class ERT solution in its competitive space. We are not merely a sticker sales and vehicle registration program but more importantly, we are a customer acquisition model.

A Bit of License Plate History

For Automobile Enthusiasts: A History of Illinois License Plates

In 1907, the Motor Vehicle Act, requiring motorists to register with the Illinois Secretary of State’s office, becomes law.

For a one-time $2 fee per vehicle, a motorist receives a circular aluminum seal with a registration number to affix to the vehicle, known as a dashboard disc.

It is the motorist's responsibility to furnish license plates. Over the years the Illinois driver’s license plate program has grown with more than ten million passenger cars registered today.
